BizAv customers booking flights always pay for the entire aircraft, regardless of how many seats they will occupy. In addition, the customer has to pay for getting the aircraft to the departure airport and for flying it back home from the desired destination. Despite various attempts, no one has been able to solve this problem of empty flights (“empty legs”), until now.
Due to the ever-increasing complexity of the coordination process, intermediaries like brokers and their broker-portals have continually been raising prices at an alarming rate. AVINOC will eliminate all those costs by completely forgoing those intermediaries. It will empower the customer and cut through the complexity.
AVINOC can, if desired, help passengers find fellow travelers to split the costs, globally and independently from any intermediary. Jet Sharing could play an important role in the future, especially for autonomous vehicles.
The strength of AVINOC is based on its internal payment system, the first incarnation* of which will be an ERC-20 token published on Ethereum. The token will be traded on exchanges and circulate globally. AVINOC token will be required for writing data into the blockchain and as a means of spam protection and process optimization. It will be used for payments within the system e.g. to pay for tickets, crews, fuel, airport fees, handling, ATC (air traffic control), maintenance and much more.
